The HEUER vice with second-generation short-stroke module – the perfect solution for series production and assembly operations. Acting as a ‘third hand’, the vice simplifies precise clamping and significantly boosts productivity when working with identical workpieces or handling heavy, bulky parts.

The HEUER short-stroke module ensures a consistent and precise clamping force for repetitive clamping processes.” The vice securely clamps the workpiece with a clamping travel of up to 5 mm, controlled via a foot pedal and an integrated hydraulic unit – without needing the spindle key. 

To comply with occupational safety regulations, the clamping travel is limited to 5 mm, protecting users from injury. With the ‘CLAMP’ pedal, the workpiece is securely fixed, while the ‘RELEASE’ pedal immediately releases the hydraulic pressure, allowing the built-in spring to open the jaws and free the workpiece.

The vice delivers a clamping force of up to 3 tonnes, which can be infinitely adjusted up to 200 bar via the hydraulic module. 

If required, the vice can also be operated manually using the spindle key. The key can be easily removed if it obstructs work.

By installing custom jaws, the vice can also be used as a pressing device or for embossing work in serial production.

The hydraulic unit is powered via a 230 V socket.
